Medical Issues
There are many different
medical issues that have the symptom of hair loss.
Diabetes, cancer, various
medications, hyperthyroidism problems, poor blood circulation are just a
few that can result in either temporary or permanent hair loss.
Other medical conditions
that are associated with hair loss include iron deficiency, scarring, dermatitis, secondary syphilis , systemic lupus erythematosus
(SLE), and vitiligo.
So if you are
experiencing sudden or unusual hair loss, there may be an underlying
illness that is the cause of it. Consult with your
physician about possible medical issues that you might have that could
be resulting in hair loss.
